Dr. Kean is a St. James alumnus and graduate of Baylor University. He earned his dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas, graduating with highest honors. Dr. Kean also received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham. He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons as well as the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Kean and his wife Kelly have two girls, Elizabeth and Sarah. They are members of First United Methodist Church.
