Robert P Bruce, MD has been a part of the Kansas City Bone & Joint team since 1988. He is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and have an interest in sports medicine. In addition to doing arthroscopic knee and shoulder surgery, he also perform many anterior approach total hip replacements and total knee replacements. These past twenty-five years have allowed me to be affiliated with several sports teams including St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Shawnee Mission East and Shawnee Mission South high schools. He was also the orthopaedic surgeon for the Kansas City Ballet from 1996 through 2007.

He earned his undergraduate degree at Kansas State University and graduated from medical school at the University of Kansas, School of Medicine. He completed his residency at KU in orthopaedic surgery and then went on for my fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in Sports Medicine.
