I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and grew up working at a trail riding and boarding facility.  While there I was involved in 4-H and showing my Arabian mare at local shows.  Undergraduate studies brought me to the University of Kentucky in Lexington.  While there, I developed a love for Thoroughbred racing and breeding.  Working closely with actively racing horses and also foaling out brood mares and working with foals, I got to experience a unique facet of the equine industry.
