Dr. Mangrum graduated from Harvard University with a degree in organismic and evolutionary biology before attending medical school at the University of Utah. He then completed residencies in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Mayo Clinic and the University of Utah.

Having previously served as a partner at Eastern Idaho Spine Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Dr. Mangrum joined Polaris Spine & Neurosurgery in 2015. He has also served as Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation, Occupational Medicine and the Spine Center of Excellence at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
