Susan Bertrand, M.D. joined A.A. Pain Clinic in 2005. Before coming to Anchorage to join AA Spine & Pain Clinic, Dr. Bertrand served as the Medical Director for the Chronic Pain Program at Missoula Community Medical Center in Missoula Montana and Southern Hills Regional Rehabilitation Hospital in West Virginia.

Dr. Bertrand has been treating patients with Musculoskeletal Pain since 1979. She received training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Washington in Seattle. She is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and sub-specialty Board Certified in Pain Medicine. She is also Fellowship trained in Interventional Pain Management.

Currently Dr. Bertrand’s practice is focused on patients with headaches, neck pain, back pain, cancer pain, and spasticity management needs.
